O.k., after at least a year of pondering the idea of starting a blog, here I go! It really wasn't a big deal at all and I wish I had done one sooner. Oh, well. Better late than never, right? I think this is a great way to stay in touch with people in a fun and creative way!
Lately I am quite sleep deprived with my precious but challenging one year old Lauren. We just celebrated her 1st birthday a couple of weeks ago and she is learning and changing every day! It is getting very fun with her as the kids all interact with her and teach her new things. Her newest thing is dancing to her Pooh bike by spinning in circles, and making hand motions like "more", "Where'd it go?" "All done!" and so on.
This picture of her is at the Texas State Fair. We went there while my parents were visiting us. Since Lauren is our little native Texan, I thought this was the perfect attire for the fair! We had a great day! There were several "redneck" moments, like watching the pig races and seeing all of the fried foods, such as fried Twinkies, fried bacon (does it get much worse than that?), and fried coke. Yuck! Lauren was quite a trooper and slept in her stroller when she needed to.
I don't want to start something I can't keep up with, so I thought I would "feature" one of my kids per post for the first five to catch you all up on the kids and all of their activities.

Love your blog Jodi. Just figured out how to leave a comment. Your title is perfect. Which child will you profile first?
Jodi, you did a great job on this. How fun to just go there anytime. Love, Mom
