Band-aid, please?

I think it is SO fitting that I just profiled Megan and then we had this little incident happen the very next day! If she were young when I wrote the profile, I would have added that if Megan is quiet for too long, it can't be a good sign! Those moments have happened less and less, because she is eight, ya know. She now "knows better!" Still, the curiosity gets the best of her sometimes and she can't resist.

Anyway, I have one of those "it is WAY too quiet" moments the other day when Megan was in my bathroom taking a bath. I walked in and she was putting a band-aid on the top of her foot. I asked what happened and she said, "I got cut." I said, "hmmm, the tub isn't sharp. How did you get cut on the tub." "I don't know," was her reply. I asked if it was perhaps from my razer. Anyway, in a nutshell, my 8 year old daughter cut herself shaving! After having a talk with her about doing that and then lying about it, I decided that she experienced some good natural consequenses. Then, I had to call Kyle right away and tell him about it. Too funny!
